About My Approach

How I Can Help

Since 2002, I’ve been helping my clients recover from injuries, reconnect with their beloved sport and resume their hobbies using advanced manual and manipulative therapy skills, IMS/Acupuncture, neuro-mobility and taping techniques (to name just a few). I integrate Shirley Sahrmann's movement imbalance approach as well as principles of Pilates & yoga to optimize functional movement patterns. My training as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) allows me to get to the root cause of your issue and get you better faster. I start with a comprehensive assessment and create a treatment plan, "your road map", to recovery and prevention supported by best evidence-based practices. This is unique to you, always with your goals in mind.

I love people but mostly, I can't wait to hear your story and uncover the key elements to help you return to your best health. As a registered Physiotherapist, my holistic approach prioritizes your well-being, teaches you exercise resiliency and celebrates all aspects of your true self.

Muscle imbalance is my jam! Every body finds the path of least resistance and I love to change it. From Pilates to yoga poses to cross-fit to your home gym, I create routines, guidelines, fine-tune your current one and guide you to the best program to help you perform your best. Sandy Baril of Rise Health has been an integral part of my care team since my accident. Her approach to my physiotherapy includes many different exercises which she works hard to keep interesting: for example incorporating yoga to build strength. She is understanding and encouraging and I am confident in the service she delivers. Rise is able to bill ICBC directly making their services even more accessible and less complicated.
